Group assignment with: Christina Tang, Fay Cai

In the last two weeks we focus on what message we want to convey in our work. We decided to put emphasis on the way we experience natural food (oranges) today, to compare the way we will experience it in the future. In what way was it presented in our lives today and if it will be present in the future? We divide it into 3 main preliminary aspects:

  1. The product
  2. How it is represented
  3. How to it

We had many ideas of how to present it in the present and many different ideas of how to present it in the future - using AR, projecting the image of the orange onto a still object, etc.

We filmed the materials and the conversation opened up again, looking at the complexity of videos in different arrangements, including: a loop of a YouTube playlist on the phone; playback on a laptop; projected; Projected in a 3x3 grid. We also tested projection mapping of videos onto objects, including a water bottle; Cup of coffee; mason jar; tic-tac-toe box; Faye's nice water bottle (the shiny enamel surface was especially tempting) We discussed whether we should describe the progress of the product or present a direct contrast of the present to the future?
