For next class, please write a short post proposing a sketch you'd like to present in the final class.

Main concepts for final assignment

  1. Visualization of relationships in text lines: What effect on what? How? and when? To create an algorithm that knows how to run on a code line or a story line and draw the meaning of its line. These lines represent how different elements interact and affect each other as the code/narrative evolves.
  2. Visualization of a Narrative: Choose a storyline (e.g., Hoodwinked) and identify the most frequently repeated words throughout the text. For each word, especially the significant ones, provide a visual representation or characterization. This could involve simple representations like colorful rectangles, each shaded according to my personal emotional associations with the word (with the potential to collect similar data from different individuals in the future). Alternatively, use more intricate shapes such as a character to symbolize a character or a tree to depict a tree. Next, create a loop to iterate through the entire story, drawing a linear narrative visually on the screen. This technique could serve to generate diverse book covers.
